Optimization of Technion Resources
Optimization of Technion Resources
Comment - There is a need to improve and integrate marketing applications and tools at the organizational level. Each faculty uses various marketing applications/tools for its activities, such as CANVA, SMOOVE, image databases, ChatGPT, etc. Instead of setting up accounts for the entire Technion that each faculty can use, each faculty currently opens a separate account and pays for it.
Answer - A general image database has already been purchased and is used by the faculties. Additionally, negotiations are ongoing with SMOOVE regarding the distribution of newsletters. Other general software, such as Photoshop, CANVA, etc., have been transferred to the Computing Division for consideration of collective purchase.
Lack of Marketing Service Providers
Comment - There is an absence of marketing service providers.
Answer - An online form has been distributed to all faculties, through which services can be ordered from the advertising agency. The advertising agency has assigned a representative who handles the faculties individually.
Website
Comment - The website is terrible. The template tools for creating individual and unit websites generally produce dull sites. When comparing the Technion website with the websites of other academic institutions, one understands how dire the situation is.
Answer - The website is in advanced stages and is scheduled to go live in July 2024.
